About School
Navakriti a Preschool and Daycare is located in south Delhi, in Adhchini, close to Sri Aurobindo Ashram, near IIT, Navakriti is run by professionally qualified and trained teachers for children between the age group of 1.5 years to 3.5 years. We make learning an adventure and inspire children to develop confidence, a sense of beauty and harmony within themselves and in relation to the world. We are guided in our work by the teachings of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother.
The principal aim of Sri Aurobindo Society Pondicherry, established in 1960 is to prepare the younger generation for a higher spiritual and harmonious life in accordance with the vision and teachings of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother. Navakriti is part of the New Delhi branch of the society and seeks to realize this goal by adopting a new approach of education which brings out the best in the child.
Navakriti is a multilingual nursery and preparatory school for children located in the campus of Sri Aurobindo Society. The picturesque surrounding of the school is far from the din and tumult of the city. The calm, serene and spiritual ambience amidst the lush green lawns and flowerbeds makes it a perfect place for learning and exploring.

We at Navakriti believe that education is not just restricted to books or within the four walls of the classroom. It is a continuous process of learning and growing with practical aids which include the whole living experience and being of the child. Without compartmentalizing or imposing structures in the child’s learning process, we create spaces in which the child can engage in a continuous and spontaneous of self-discover.

Infrastructure
The class rooms are big, spacious and air conditioned. These classrooms are beautifully decorated with various articles as per the interest of these tiny tots. These classrooms also boast various audio visual aids and Montessori equipments to teach the students in an effective and interesting way. A library with rich collection of children books is there in the school which helps to inculcate reading habits in little ones.
The daycare at Navakriti is open for children from the age of three years to 15 years. It runs from 12:30 to 6 p.m. The infant program in the school has been running successfully in addition to the Preschool. Mid day meals are also provided to the students in the school. Fresh and hygienically prepared food is served to the students.
Based on the various activities that are to be performed by the students, the school is divided into various activities areas. The school owns a dance room, music room, toy room and art room to cater the needs of the students. An activity room is also there where kids can go for doing any kind of activity. An AV room is maintained by the school with latest audio and video systems for the little ones.
A Splash pool is also maintained for the tiny tots. Other areas which are maintained by the school are kitchen garden, sand pit, jungle gym and resource center for the students. These areas are used to make children aware of various things and that too in a playful and practical manner.
Spacious playgrounds and a garden to accommodate more than a single batch are there in the school where a number of swings and slides are present. Students love to spend time in these areas. A medical room is also there which provides first aid for the students. Transportation facility is also provided by the school for the students.
